ABOUT

Cranberry Lake was originally formed in 1830 to serve as a reservoir for the Morris Canal. In the 1920’s, the Cranberry Lake Development Company built vacation homes at Cranberry Lake.  In response to the recreational needs to the residents of the vacation homes, the Cranberry Lake Community Club  (CLCC) was established in 1924. Today, Cranberry Lake boasts many year-round homes as well as numerous vacation homes.

The CLCC maintains a quality program of activities and services at a reasonable rate to its members. In addition to scheduled events and organized programs, the following CLCC facilities & services are covered by your dues (except where noted) and are available to you.

CLUB AMENITIES

Swimming

 

Enjoy swimming at both beaches as well as off of one of our many floating docks throughout the lake .

 

Note: Lifeguards are on duty at the Clubhouse Beach every day from 11AM to 5PM, and at Rose's Beach from 11AM to 5PM. Lifeguards are also on duty at all club evens that involve members bathing in the water.

Beaches

 

Our main beach is located at the Clubhouse where we have a slide, diving boards, snack shack and where our swim meets are held. Our second beach is at a more quiet setting and boasts of a walk in beach for toddlers

Special Club Events

 

We have a fully packed' event calendar that runs from June through August.  There is always some event happening at our Clubhouse

Our Clubhouse offers FREE WiFi for all our members.

Boating

 

From speed boats to sailboats, boating enthusiast of all kinds are welcome to enjoy our lake.

THINGS TO DO

Boating Safety Course

The boat safety course is run by a certified instructor. The course meets the NJ State requirements to obtain a boat license, provided you pass the exam and meet the other requirements, e.g. age. The boat safety course is an all day event

Life Guarding

 

The Cranberry Lake Community Club offers American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and Junior Lifeguarding taught by an American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor. Fees for lifeguard training may vary.

Synchronized Swimming


Synchronized swimming is open to all children from bubbler to teenagers. There is no fee to participate.  The program culminates in a theater quality performance in mid August.

Swim Lessons

 

All of our swim lessons are taught by American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors.

Youth Activity Calendar (YAC)

 

There are many youth activities for your young ones to enjoy throughout the week

Boat Rally

An annual boat safety rally focusing on fun while providing continuing education on boating safety.
